Online eLearning Courseware

The eLearning packages are to enable your students to self-study enabling them to enhance the work already undertaken in the classroom. The packages are interactive, engaging and designed to assist the student in the understanding in either complicated topics or subjects which are just learning facts.

Due to its convenience and flexibility, the resources are available from anywhere and at any time.

The eLearning can be used as stanalone training, but ideally is used with the Training Books which they were designed with.

The eLearning modules can also be used for self study to support the Instructor Led Training.

Advantages of eLearning.

Whilst eLearning has some disadvantages, it has many advantages.

Advantages:

  • It is a very efficient way of delivering courses.
  • Due to its convenience and flexibility, the resources are available from anywhere and at any time.
  • Web-based learning promotes active and independent learning.
  • As you have access to the training 24x7.
  • The student can access the train anytime and from anywhere.
  • The training can be reviewed, seen and heard again and again if the student does not understand the topic first time around.

Disadvantages

  • eLearning is not suitable for all types of training.
  • eLearning can be issolating - note: this can be reduced with online instructor support.
  • Most online assessments are limited to questions that are only objective in nature.
  • The authenticity of a particular student's work is also a problem as online just about anyone can do a project rather than the actual student themselves. Note: for examinations this can be reduced by using our online exam procturing.

Tracking of Training

The eLearning is all in the SCORM format so it can be hosted on our Learning Management System (LMS) or it can be hosted on your system. By hosting the eLearning on an LMS the interaction of the students with the courseware can be tracked and feedback given to the Instructors.
